Admissions - Skyline Recovery Center
Beginning Your Recovery Must Not Feel Complicated. We Are Here With You to Make It Easier.
Reaching out for the care you need and deserve is a life-changing step. But we do not want every subsequent step to feel tedious. This is why our admissions team is always here for you to answer questions, explain options, and offer clarity toward the right level of care – without any obligation or judgment.
Your Admission Journey at Skyline Recovery
Getting started with your recovery only takes four simple steps. Most of our clients complete the first three within a day or two of reaching out.
Reach Out to Us
Call us directly at (424) 850-2533 or submit the adjacent form to speak confidentially with a member of our admissions team. We will ask about what you are experiencing, listen without judgment, and answer any queries you may have regarding our recovery programs.
Complete a Clinical Assessment
A brief, confidential assessment enables us to understand your diagnosis, history, and goals. This is how we determine whether a partial hospitalization program, intensive outpatient program, or another level of care is the right beginning point for you.
Confirm Insurance Coverage or Payment
We will quickly and confidentially check your insurance benefits or explain your self-pay options, so you know exactly what to expect financially before you commit to anything.
Begin Your Recovery
Once we design your personalized treatment plan around your needs, goals, and daily life, we will schedule your starting date so that you can meet your clinical team and community to begin your recovery journey.

What to Expect on Your First Call?
Calling for the first time can feel intimidating, so here is exactly what happens. A real member of our admissions team, not a call center, will ask about what is bringing you to treatment – whether it is anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, or a combination. We will then explain the difference between partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, answer questions regarding scheduling, and enable you to figure out if outpatient care is the right fit.
Please note that you are not obligated to commit to anything on this call, and everything you share with us will remain confidential. Our only goal is to empower you to understand your options clearly enough to make the decision that is right for you.
Who Qualifies for Admission at Skyline Recovery?
Skyline Recovery’s outpatient programs are designed for those who need structured, clinical oversight but do not require 24/7 hospitalization. During your clinical assessment, we will evaluate whether you are a good fit for:
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
An intensive full-day program that runs for 6-8 hours per day and 5 days per week for those needing daily structure and intensive stabilization.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
A structured yet flexible program that runs for 9-15 hours per week for those stepping down from a higher level of care or needing flexible, ongoing care.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment
An integrated recovery pathway for those managing both a mental health condition and substance use together.
If our clinical assessment shows you need a different level of care, such as medically supervised detoxification or a residential program, we will be upfront about that and point you toward the right direction, rather than admitting you into a program that is not the right fit.

Relocating to Los Angeles for Treatment
Many of our clients come to Skyline Recovery from outside the Los Angeles region. Most come to us after having completed detox and are ready to begin PHP or IOP with us. If you need to detox and have not yet, we can point you to a trusted detox provider first so you are set up to transition smoothly into structured outpatient recovery programs once you are ready.
There is a real benefit to doing your PHP or IOP here, even if detox happened somewhere else. Our team gets to know your history, needs, and goals from day one, so you are not just another intake; you are building real continuity in your care from the start.
Being away from home is beneficial too, especially during your early recovery days. Distance from your triggers, stressors, and habits tied to your old routine can make it a lot easier to focus on getting better.
If you are also considering relocating and need a safe place to stay, our case managers can help coordinate sober living arrangements and walk you through what you can expect logistically, alongside your intake journey.
Insurance and Payment
Skyline Recovery Center works with most major PPO insurance providers, and our in-house team can verify your benefits quickly and confidentially as part of your admissions process. This verification is confidential and free of cost; you are not obligated to commit to anything. It is only an information-gathering step so that you understand your coverage and benefits before you take the next step in your recovery journey.
If you do not have insurance, we also offer self-pay options. Together, we can figure out what is realistic for your needs and circumstances before you rule anything out.

Whenever You Are Ready, We Are Here For You
Reaching out is often the most difficult step in your journey. This is why, whenever you are ready, our team will always be there for you to make every next step that comes simple – whether it is a clinical assessment, an insurance verification, a treatment plan, or admissions. Everything you share with us remains confidential.
Through this journey, we seek to ensure you feel safe and empowered to make informed decisions in your own recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the admissions process take?
Most of those who reach out to Skyline Recovery complete the phone consultation and clinical assessment within a day or two. Once your personalized treatment plan is confirmed, we can often schedule your beginning date within the same week.
Do I need a referral to start treatment?
You do not need a referral to call us. If your insurance plan requires one for coverage purposes, our admissions team will handle that as part of your intake.
What happens during the clinical assessment?
During your clinical assessment, Skyline Recovery Center’s licensed and trained clinicians enquire about your symptoms, history, and goals to determine the right level of care. This step is fully confidential, and there is no obligation to move forward afterward.
What if I am not sure which program is right for me?
If you are not sure which program is right for you, you do not have to have everything figured out from the beginning. This is exactly what a clinical assessment is for. Our licensed and trained clinicians will understand your symptoms and challenges, will walk you through the differences between partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, and recommend the level of care that fits your needs and goals.
Can I start treatment while pursuing studies or jobs?
Our structured outpatient treatment options, especially our intensive outpatient programs and standard outpatient programs, offer flexible morning, afternoon, evening, and virtual options. They are specifically designed for those who need to maintain studies, jobs, and/or family responsibilities.
Does Skyline Recovery accept insurance?
Skyline Recovery actively collaborates with most major PPO insurance providers and verifies your specific benefits before you commit to anything. Coverage and benefits can vary by plan, so we confirm exactly what is covered for PHP, IOP, or dual diagnosis treatment during your admissions call.
What if I do not have insurance or my plan does not cover treatment?
If you do not have insurance or your plan does not cover treatment, care can still be within your reach. Skyline Recovery offers self-pay options, and we will figure out a payment pathway that is realistic for you and your needs. If your plan does not cover outpatient care, we will also explain alternatives like out-of-network coverage, so you understand every option before deciding how to move forward.
